Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Ebenezer Nazarene Church in Crowley for Robert "Doug" Douglas McCall, 59, of Indian Bayou, who died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2002, at his residence. The Rev. Joe Talhelm, pastor of Ebenezer Nazarene Church, will officiate at the funeral services. Interment will be in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery. Mr. McCall was a flooring installer and served in the Army during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Francis Winchester McCall, of Indian Bayou; a daughter, Kim M. Istre and her husband, Kenneth, of Crowley; a son, Wayne McCall and his wife, Brenda, of Crowley; his mother, Gertie Alma Hoffpauir McCall, of Indian Bayou; and four grandchildren, Corde and Cameron McCall and Kaleb and Korry Istre.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Eugene McCall; and a brother, Sterling Eugene McCall.
Visitation will be observed from 2:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. today and again from 8 a.m. until noon Sunday at the funeral home. The body will be at the church from 1 p.m. Sunday until time of the services.
