Dirk Anthony Hoffpauir, an offshore purchasing agent, died Sunday. He was 33. Mr. Hoffpauir was born in Morgan City and lived in Metairie for the past 19 years. Survivors include a son, Cody Charles Hoffpauir; a daughter, Katey Elizabeth Hoffpauir; his father, William A. Hoffpauir; his mother, Cathy Smith Lacassagne; his stepfather, Herbert L. Lacassagne; his stepmother, Cathy Lablanc Hoffpauir; six brothers; four sisters; and his grandmother, Betty T. Smith. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 631 State St. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
