Mary Jo Arnaud, 73, Nederland, TX died Friday, January 4, 2002 at her residence. She was a native of Port Arthur, TX and lifelong area resident. She was a retired supervisor from Port Neches-Groves ISD, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Swinging Squares Club. Her hobbies include traveling and research of genealogy, she also was an accomplished painter. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2002 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, TX with Rev. John Newsome officiating. Burial will be in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX. Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 6, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the Funeral home. Survivors include daughters Claudia Dickerson, of San Antonio, TX; Colleen Arnaud of Nederland, TX; Ellen Cherry of Port Neches, TX and Carol Hoffpauir of Groves, TX. son; Edwin Arnaud, III, of Lumberton, TX; sister; Ruby Utvik of Port Arthur, TX; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
