CROWLEY - Funeral services for Earline Leger Hargrave, 64, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The Rev. Albert Nunez will officiate at the funeral services. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Earline Leger Hargrave passed away at 12:43 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at Crowley American Legion Hospital. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Church Ladies Altar Society and the Rosary Society. Mrs. Hargrave is survived by her husband, August "Gus" Hargrave, of Lyons Point; daughters, Susan Doucet and her husband, Danny, of Lafayette, Debra Suire and her husband, Bubba, and Tonya Simon, all of Lyons Point, and Terri Hoffpauir and her husband, Darryl, of Crowley; her twin brother, Earl Leger, of Rayne; sister, Laurence Hanks, of Rayne; grandchildren, Heather, Caine, Jory, Angela, Trey, Anthony, Rebecca, Stacy, Katelyn, Cody, Victoria, Kara, Eric and Hana; and one great-grandchild, Dylan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mayance and Ursule Leger, and two sisters, Olite and Rose Leger.
Visitation hours will be observed from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary and from 8 a.m. Tuesday until time of the services. Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements.
