1920 census shows them in Jennings, Jefferson Davis Parish, LA
Addie is a steam engine engineer, which occupation he had for many years.
1930 census (they have lived in Pelly and are now) in Wooster Village. He is a pumper at the refinery.
1940 census they are at 208 Second St. Wooster; Connie and Kathryn are living with Addie and Bertha.Kathryn was living in Mont Belvieu on April 1, 1935. Addie is a pumper at the refinery and Connie is a carpenter’s helper at the refinery.
When he applied for work with Humble Co., Mr. Sarver “lost” four years of his age, for fear that he would not be hired. When he needed a birth certificate, a delayed certificate was made, and he continued to use the wrong age. Retired as a pumper, April, 1951.His retirement and social security application were four years late. The correct date of birth was 1886, not 1890.even though his death certificate says 1890
Funeral at Paul U. Lee, 4P.M., Rev. M. S. Jordan, pastor of Grace Methodist and Rev. H. T. McCants, pastor of Church of the Nazarene officated.
Died in San Jacinto Memorial Hospital in Baytown. Pumper at Oil refinery gives bp as Crowley;.
Lived at farm on North Barkaloo Rd. Baytown at time of death.
