JOYCE CAROL LISONBEE COLE, 70, passed into the arms of God on November 9, 2002. Born October 25, 1932, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Alvin Cole; children; James Alvin Cole, Jr., Mark Cole, Donna Dravis and husband J.O., Janet Hoffpauir and husband John, Carol Criswell and husband Eddie, Edward Cole and wife Wendy; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also her brothers, Nick Bavaro and Johnny Lisonbee and sister, Carrie Russik. Joyce brought strength, joy and laughter to everyone she touched that will not be forgotten. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. November 12, 2002 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church with burial to follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances the family requests that memorials be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 107 East Edgebrook Drive, Houston, Texas 77034.
