Funeral services for Rose Ann Hoffpauir, 43, of Starks, were held Tuesday, May 25, at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks with the Rev. Jeremy Shields officiating. Burial was in the VFW Cemetery in Starks under the direction of Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Mrs. Hoffpauir died Sunday, May 23, 2004, in Lake Charles. A native of Baytown, Tex., she had lived in the Starks area most of her life. Survivors include her mother and father, Grace Doyle Hoffpauir and John M. Hoffpauir of Starks; two sons, Dan Hoffpauir and Henry Dan Lee, both of Vinton; one daughter, Cheyene Hamer of Vinton; three brothers, Billy Hoffpauir of Sulphur, John Hoffpauir, Jr., and Cornelius Hoffpauir, both of Starks; one sister, Tammy Susanne Fontenot of Orange, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
