Mable Sonnier, 74, of Stowell, died Saturday December 21, 2002 at Winnie Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2002 at Broussard's in Winnie with Reverend Khanh Go officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview cemetery in Winnie. Mrs. Sonnier was a lifelong resident of the Winnie/ Stowell area. She was a homemaker. She is survived bye her husband, Matthew Sonnier of Stowell; two sons, Gerald "Cooney" Sonnier of Stowell, and E.J. Sonnier of High Island; two daughters, Deborah Smith of Winnie, and Linda Weekly of Stowell; one brother, Harry Hoffpauir of Winnie; two sisters, Helen Bonds of Talladega, Alabama, and Yvonne Knight of Stowell; fourteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
