Burial

Obituary: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church for Vaughn Charles LeJeune, 63, who died November 11, 2009 in Lafayette after a long illness. Fr. Gary Schexnayder will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be led by Deacon Rodless Leleux at 6 p.m. Friday. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hoffpauir LeJeune, one daughter, Cherie Thibodaux and her husband, Shaun of Prairieville; two sons, Christopher and Kevin LeJeune both of Crowley; one sister, Arlene Albarado and her husband Michael of Crowley; and two brothers, Brice LeJeune of Lafayette, and Dean LeJeune and his wife Debra of Crowley. Vaughn is preceded in death by his parents, Hersey Charles and Thelma Bollich LeJeune. The pallbearers will be Christopher LeJeune, Kevin LeJeune, Brice LeJeune, Dean LeJeune, Mathew Albarado, and Tim Zaunbrecher. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church: 29031 Crowley-Eunice Hwy.
