Burial
Obituary: CROWLEY - Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Leon "Junior" Hoffpauir, 72, who died Thursday, May 15, 2008 in Lafayette. The Reverend Dan Patrick, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene in Crowley, will officiate for the services. Visitation will be observed from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday from 8 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Mr. Hoffpauir began his work career as an automobile mechanic and later worked as a farm implement mechanic for Henderson Implement. He also served 29 years in the Louisiana National Guard. Mr. Hoffpauir is survived by his son, Mitchell and his wife, Stephanie, of Broussard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mannasseh Leon Hoffpauir and Nellie Freeland Hoffpauir and his wife, Adelaide Monger Hoffpauir. Memorial donations may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, 1203 W. Northern Ave., Crowley, LA 70526. Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
