Death

Obituary: CROWLEY - Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008 for Eldridge Paul Hoffpauir, Sr., 66, who died Thursday, January 10, 2008, at his residence in Crowley. Fr. Don Leger conducted the funeral service and the committal service at Abshire Cemetery. Visitation was Friday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time. Mr. Hoffpauir is survived by his wife, Barbara Simon Hoffpauir of Crowley; eight sons, Eldridge Paul Hoffpauir, J. of Crowley, Carl and wife Mary Hoffpauir of Crowley, Donald Hoffpauir of Crowley, John Hoffpauir and his companion Wayne Touutcheque of Abbeville, Robert Dale Hoffpauir of Crowley, Clayton and wife Kayla of Crowley, Allen and wife Kristie of Crowley, Lawrence Mouton; three daughters, Janice and husband David Lormand of Crowley, Sharon and husband Kenneth Harrington of Crowley and Rodonna and husband Johnny Seaux Jr. of Midland; three brothers, Hollen Hoffpauir of Las Vegas, James Hoffpauir of Crowley and Milton Hoffpauir of Kaplan; a sister, Pearl Guidry of Judice, LA; 23 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren and his caregiver, Sherry Faulk. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddy and Effie Trahan Hoffpauir; two sisters, Lucy Guidry and Edith Sarver; two brothers, Dallas Hoffpauir and Sidney Hoffpauir; a great grandchild Jade Paul Hoffpauir.
