Obituary: Rita Mae Fontenot, 88 passed away April 18, 2020 in a local hospital. She was born on June 23, 1932 to Ella Mae and Sebrin Hoffpauir. Rita was a loving wife and mother of six children. She was a member of St. Theodore’s Catholic Church where she was involved in the Altar Society and was a Eucharistic Minister. Rita was also an extremely involved member within the Church. Preceeding her in death are Father, Sebrin Hoffpauir, Mother, Ella Mae Hoffpauir, Brother, Clifford Hoffpauir, Son, Gary Fuslier, Son-In Law, Gary Grob, and Great Grandson, Joshua St. John.   Those left behind to cherish her memory are 3 siblings; Bernice Johnson, Russell Hoffpauir, and LeVerdie Bellard. She also leaves behind Son, Clifton Fuslier wife Debra, Daughter-In Law, Debbie Fuslier, Daughter, Kathy Grob, Son, Randy Fontenot wife Pookie, Son, Harris Fontenot, and Son, Jude Fontenot wife Becky.   She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren , 21 great grandchildren , and 3 great great grandchildren. Rita’s memory will continue to be cherished by her family and friends. In compliance with current state regulations, a private graveside service will be held at Consolata Cemetery for the immediate family.
