Obituary: The Crowley Post-Signal, Crowley, Louisiana, Sunday, April 9, 2000: FRANCIS EMILY HOFFPAUIR. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Francis Emily Hoffpauair, 78, who died at 12:01 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2000, at Landmark Retirement Center in Crowley. Reverend Bob Hollis will officiate for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be observed on Saturday from 4-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. until the time of services. She was preceded in death by her aunts, Nidith and Hilda Harmon; one brother, Eugene Winan Hoffpauir, Jr.; and her parents, WINAN HOFFPAUAIR and Effie Laura Harmon. She was a 1938 graduate of Crowley High School and was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. She spent most of her life doing needlework.
