FUNERAL SERVICES FOR LEM W. HOFFPAUIR HEL TUESDAY, JANUARY 30.
Funeral services for Lem William Hoffpauir, 78 of Clairett were held Tuesday afternoon, January 30, at 3:00 o'clock in the Clairette Methodist Church with Rev. A. L. Cronk and Rev. Bennie McBryde officiationg. Burial was in the Hico Cemetery.
Mr. Hoffpauir was born March 8, 1894 in Liberty County, son of the late Leonard Thomas Hoffpauir and Samantha Sparks Hoffpauir. He passed away January 29 in Hico City Hospital. Mr. Hoffpauir, who was retired had lived the past 12 years in Clairette, and prior to that time had lived in Brownwood where he was a bus driver. He was a member of the Clairette Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jennie Hoffpauir of Clairette; three daughters, Mrs. Velma Alexander of Duffau; Mrs. Beth Anderson of Cula Vista, Calif.; and Miss Vieta McAnally of Odessa; Ten sons, Lonnie McAnally of Portland, Ore.; Ferrell McAnally of Odessa; Lawrence McAnally of San Antonio; Park McAnally of Fort Worth; Gage McAnally of Stephenville; John McAnally of Littlefield; Frank McAnally and Tommy McAnally both of San Angelo; 33 grandchildren and a host great grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
