LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2000, in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Theo Dora "Polly" Brock, the former Theo Dora Simon, 76, who died Monday, March 27, at her Lafayette residence.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Darryl A. Tate, pastor, Northwood United Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Roger Cook, accompanied on the organ by Valerie Andrus will sing for the services, "His Eye Is on the Sparrow," "The Lily of the Valley," "In the Garden" and "Amazing Grace."
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susan Henry Huval and Gerald of Lafayette; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. Henry and Sharon of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Brett J. Huval, Brian C. Henry, Lillian Henry and William Henry; and one sister, Jean Simon Arceneaux of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Knox Henry; and one brother, James M. Simon.
A native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Brock was the daughter of the late Gordy Simon and the former Etres Hoffpauir, both natives of Ridge.
She was a member of the Northwood United Methodist Church, formerly Davidson Memorial
United Methodist Church.
Visiting hours were observed from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and will continue from 9 a.m. to service time today.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Brock's name may be made to Northwood United Methodist Church, 4530 Moss St., Lafayette, LA 70507.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Huval, Brian Henry, William Henry, Louis Dooley, James Dooley and Joey Newman. Honorary pallbearer will be Brett J. Huval.
