Clyde Elmo Foreman

Obit: INDIAN BAYOU - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 24, 1998, at Indian Bayou United Methodist Church for Clyde Elmo Foreman, 86, of Ridge, who died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be at Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery in Indian Bayou. The Rev. Joe Talhelm will officiate at the funeral services.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Foreman was a member of American Legion Post 77 of Rayne and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9822 in Ridge. He was also a member of Indian Bayou United Methodist Church.
Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his father, Samp Foreman, his mother, Mary Ella Burke Foreman, and a brother, Winfred Foreman.
Special thanks to his caretakers for the past two years who were, Cindy Hargrave, Margaret Fontenot, Gladys Abshire, Jo Ann Thibodeaux, Barry Spell and Dr. Ken McCarron and his staff.
Pallbearers will be: Bart Bertrand, Seth Leblanc, Larry Hoffpauir, Brent Bertrand, Kim Leblanc and Joe Hoffpauir. Honorary pallbearers are: W.G. Burke Jr., Blaine Bertrand, Buford Spell and Barry Spell.
Visiting will be observed at Duhon Funeral Home from 8 a.m. today until time of the services.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne is in charge of the arrangements.
