WESTLAKE — Funeral services for Richard Gerald "Red" Bunch Sr., 73, will be at 2 p.m. today, July 9, in Hixson Funeral Home.
The Revs. Darwin Enicks and Clarence Hoffpauir will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation is from 8 a.m. today. Mr. Bunch died at 11:40 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2000, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Sulphur and had lived most of his life in Westlake. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Painters Local 783 and of First Church of the Nazarene in Sulphur.




Survivors include his wife, Irene Annette Hoffpauir Bunch of Westlake; one son, Richard Gerald Bunch Jr. of Longville; five daughters, Catherine Bunch Dufrene, Betty Bunch Comardelle and
Marilyn Bunch Rogers, all of Houma, Alice Bunch Browning of Westlake and Linda Bunch Sherer of Sulphur; five brothers, Jesse E. Bunch Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., Shirley L. Bunch and Stirley G. Bunch, both of Westlake, Talbert Bunch and Kyle Bunch, both of Sulphur; two sisters, Evelyn Addison of Ragley and Doris Ivey of DeQuincy; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
