Obituary: Jeffrey Alan Jeff Hoffpauir, 57, of Winnie, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016, at Christus Dubuis Hospital of Beaumont. He was born December 22, 1958, in Winshire, to Sarah Hamous Hoffpauir and James Floyd Hoffpauir. Jeff was a 1977 graduate of East Chambers High School, in Winnie. He was a twenty year employee of Chambers County Sheriff Department, as a 911 dispatch operator. Survivors include his father, James Floyd Hoffpauir; brothers, James Glenn Hoffpauir and his wife, Lynn; Gary Hoffpauir and his wife, Lynda; and Randy Hoffpauir; many nieces; nephews; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by mother, Sarah Lea Hoffpauir. A gathering of Mr. Hoffpauir's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Broussard's, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Broussard's. A private family committal will be held at Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
