INDIAN BAYOU -- Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2005, in Indian Bayou Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Locascio officiating, for Alice Marie Hoffpauir, 81, of Lafayette, who died at 12:10 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005, in the Autumn Breeze Nursing Home in Lafayette. Visitation was observed at the church Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services. She is survived by one brother, Blanchard Dale Hoffpauir, Lafayette; a sister-in-law, Betty Hoffpauir, Metaire; a niece, Lou Mongomery, Houston, Texas; a nephew, Arnold Ray Hoffpauir, Jr., Vinton, Texas; and a host of cousins. Miss Hoffpauir was a native of Indian Bayou but a resident of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Morgan and Eaton Hoffpauir.
