Served in: Malta, BEF (France & Flanders) and Sierra Leone.
It is recorded that he was transferred to Army Reserve on 13 Dec 1910 with permission to reside in Canada - he was mobilized in Canada 12 Aug 1914 and repatriated to that country on 17 May 1919 sailing on S.S. Acquitania.
