Bloomfield, and a former resident of Victor, and Donald Briggs,son of Mr. and Mrs. Elnathan G. Briggs, of East Bloomfield, were unitedin marriage, Tuesday, September 1st, at the home of the bride's mother.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. H.Herendeen, an uncle of the bride, in the presence of 85 guests. The attendants were Miss AliceCalkins, sister of the bride, and Rodney Briggs, of Rochester,brother of the groom.  The bride'swedding dress was a family heirloom, which was embroidered by her greatgrandmother. Mr. and Mrs.Briggs returned froma wedding trip to the Thousand Islands, and are residing with his parents ontheir farm South of East Bloomfield Village.
