Marriage
Marriage year is from a Research Work Chart - "Clara Ruth Bruce moved to Craig Nebraska after she married Ward Miles Smothers year 1919. Ward went to work at Circle A Ranch outside of Craig. Walter Hopewell Lt. Governor owned Circle A Ranch. Al Davis, Tom's dad was a partner of Hopewells. Ward Smothers died in 1928. Clara Ruth married Al Davis in 1930 two years after Ward Killed. The Ranch went bankrupt. Al went to work for Standard Oil in Craig".Endnotes
