Son Joseph was mentioned in the will of John Mayo of Harwich, dated 3 Feb 1723/4. Joseph Mayo and wife were admitted to Brewster Church 15 Jul 1722, and she and their three oldest were bapt. there 5 Aug. following Joseph was sent by the church in 1734 to counsel w/Dr. Jonathan BANGS for non-attendence. Joseph MAYO was named deacon of Brewster Church 9 Mar 1739/40. The will of Joseph MAYO of Harwick, dated 3 Sep 1773, and proved 13 Jun 1775, mentioned wife Abigail, daus. Elizabeth MAYO, Lydia BAKER, Eunice WINSLOW and Abigail FREEMAN; sons Moses, Thomas, Isaac, and Nathan, and children of eldest son Joseph, deceased.
