!Jeremiah Benskin moved ato Henrico Co., VA, probably from England, befaore 1690. On Dec 1, 1696, he sold Henry Ascough 308 acres in Henrico County for five shillings. He made his will in April, 1690, leaving his property to his wife Elizabeth and daughter Mary. The estate was probated on June 3, 1703. His widow married Robaerat Williams on 12 Oct 1703, and his daughater was raised by John Bolling. Benskin received posthumously a grant from the colony of Vierginia of 324 acres on the south side of the James River at the mouth of Lower Westham Creek for transporting seven persons into the colony.
