| Note | 1900 | John's death remains a mystery to me. ancestry trees have him dying 29 Jul 1939 in Robe, SA. But the death notice refers to his wife as Clara & his age as 66 (born about 1873). Youngest son John Alfred gave his mother as Next of Kin when he joined the army in 1915 so no sign of John. So I remain doubtful that this is our John Thomas |
