Note (fam)1862It is thought that John & Margaret's first house was at Cathcarts Ford (Spring Creek near Injemira Station which is near Grassmere) & they then selected land at nearby Woolsthorpe in 1865. Later they moved to Woodford where James was engaged in mixed farming but by 1869 James had established a store at Flatview House which later became the Mailor's Flat Store. It was burned down in 1870 and rebuilt - Margaret Jane OWENS
