1. E-mail from Heide Lange to Katherine Bigelow dated approximately 16 November 2004. The e-mail included information compiled from Dr. Berthold Budell's book entitled: "Register zu den Kirchenbüchern der Katholischen Pfarrei Schallodenbach: 1683-1798" ["Church Book Registers of the Catholic Parish in Schallodenbach: 1683-1798"] and entered into her own genealogy software. Lange used many of the same abbreviations and symbols used in Budell's work. However, there are known errors when Lange's compilation is compared to the original Budell source document. Additionally, for baptisms, Lange substituted the symbol " ~ " for Budell's symbol " ° ".
