1. A chart entitled "Ahnentafel : Broschart" in the possession of Margarethe (Broschart) Gross of Kaiserslautern viewed by Hollis Veley III on 26 Jun 2009 while visiting Germany. Certain small areas of the document, illegible to me, are denoted with (?). The opposite side of the paper upon which the chart was sketched bears the handwritten text "Wickelhof (?) Schallodenbach Saarpfalz", and nothing else. The document appears to be certified by Laurensius Hildebrandt on 19 June 1939. Two stamps appear near this signature: (1) "Kath. Pfarrramt Schalldenbach-Pfalz"; and (2) a round stamp (a seal?) with text around the circumference"Sig. Par. Cath. Schallodenbach (?), with a an image of Christ or an angel in the center. All dates of life events for those appearing on the chart predate this. Three individuals are enclosed by blue boxes, each of which bears a round stamp with circumferential text "Kath. Pfarramt Schallodenbach (?)" with Catholic symbol in the center. Eight individuals are enclosed by red boxes and represent the direct ancestors of (?) (Broschart), back seven generations to (?) Lambert (Broschart). Margarethe is one of the siblings of (?) (Broschart). The remaining fifty or more individuals are enclosed by no boxes..
2. E-mail from Heide Lange to Katherine Bigelow dated approximately 16 November 2004. The e-mail included information compiled from Dr. Berthold Budell's book entitled: "Register zu den Kirchenbüchern der Katholischen Pfarrei Schallodenbach: 1683-1798" ["Church Book Registers of the Catholic Parish in Schallodenbach: 1683-1798"] and entered into her own genealogy software. Lange used many of the same abbreviations and symbols used in Budell's work. However, there are known errors when Lange's compilation is compared to the original Budell source document. Additionally, for baptisms, Lange substituted the symbol " ~ " for Budell's symbol " ° ". Dr. Berthold Budell apparently used the following sources: Kirchenbuch [church book] - Schallodenbach Katholische Kirche Kirchenbuch - Meisenheim Katholische Kirche Kirchenbuch - Obermoschel Katholische Kirche Kathy Bigelow forwarded the contents of the e-mailr in an e-mail to Hollis F. Veley III dated 3 January 2010..
3. "Broschard-Broschart Otterberg/Schallodenbach, Deutschland" private member tree as found on www.ancestry.com, contributed by Lothar Laninger. This sight has several contributors, including Kathy (Broschart) Bigelow, presumably others, and Hollis. F. Veley III. Therefore, the citation of this source may indicate that the information was contributed to the source by others..
