Antonio and his son Joseph acquired Fazzoni Brothers Fireworks Company after the April 1940 death of Leopold Fazzoni. Antonio brought a little black booklet containing fireworks recipes with him when he emigrated from Italy. In the early 1950's the Zambelli family-owned Hotel New Penn at 20-22 South Mercer Street became the corporate headquarters for Zambelli Fireworks Manufacturing Company, Inc. After Antonio's death, the company was renamed in 1960 as Zambelli Fireworks Manufacturing Company, Inc., doing business as Zambelli Internationale.Endnotes
