ARCHDALE - Wallace E. Briles, 66, of Hebron, Md., formerly of High Point, died Saturday in Washington, D.C.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cumby Mortuary, Archdale. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
He was a retired general contractor and Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Temple Hill Baptist Church in Hebron, Md.
Surviving are wife, Gladys Hill Briles; daughters, Mrs. Ollie Ward of Salisbury, Md., Mrs. Patricia Estelle Campbell of Fultondale, Ala.; sons, William Paul Briles of Fultondale, Ala., Wallace Eugene Briles of Delmar, Md.; sisters, Mrs. Ella Lee Stewart of Jamestown, Mrs. Mary Carol Forkner of Asheboro, Mrs. Janice Zachary of Archdale; seven grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, other times at the residence of Mrs. Mary Forkner of Asheboro.
