HIGH POINT-Deborah “Debbie” Welborn Price, 61, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017.
She was born on September 4, 1955 in Guilford County, daughter of the late Joe and Ava Hill Welborn. A resident of this area all of her life, she owned and operated a residential cleaning service for 30 years, and was a long time member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working outdoors; especially in her flowers, decorating lamp bases with nail polish, and taking care of her dogs and cats. Debbie’s true love and passion was spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving companion, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, and will be dearly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her companion, Ricky Butler; her daughter, Misty Welborn and her companion John Parrish; her grandson, Collin Sky Welborn; her sister, Nancy Walker and her husband Dwight; her half-brothers, Max Welborn and his wife Elizabeth, Richard Welborn and his wife Lois. Also surviving are her niece, Paula Walker; her nephew, Darren Walker and 2 special sisters by choice, Sue Stroud and Christy Welborn and her husband Randy.
A service to celebrate Debbie’s life was held on Sunday, April 16, at 4 pm, at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery.
