Death
Michael H. Briles, 69, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. A celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date.Michael was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 11, 1951 to the late Herschel and Virginia Margaret (Colbert) Briles, preceded in death by his parents; by his brother, Maurice Eugene Briles; and by his brother-in-law, Richard Lynn Richter.
He is survived by his sisters, Glinda Raye Obermeir (Don) of Advance, North Carolina, Linda Richter of Evansville, IN, Paulette Renee Thomsen of Evansville, IN, and Rita Ann Smith (Keith) of Evansville, IN; brothers, Marlin Richard Briles (Elaine) of Evansville, IN, and Maynard Thomas Briles (Lori) of Evansville, IN; 7 nephews, 3 nieces; and by many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
