Edna Vonzelle Sharp, age 78, of Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro died Monday, June 17, 2002 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro.Mrs. Sharp was a native of Randolph County and a member of Glenola Baptist Church. She was retired from Burlington Socks.
She is survived by her husband Cecil Sharp; two daughters: Shirley Jarrell of Asheboro, NC, Ronda Hughes of Asheboro, NC; one son: Dennis Summey of Asheboro, NC,one sister: Bernice Davis of Asheboro, NC; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 18, 2002 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Ronda Hughes, 828 Jerry Hughes St., Asheboro. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Burial will be in Pierces Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
