SNELLVILLE, GA: Douglas “Doug” A. Mack, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at his home in Durham. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Eugene Mack and Martha Lindstrom. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mack was also predeceased by his step-father, Roy Lindstrom.Mr. Mack is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Mack; son, Timothy Douglas Mack; and brother-in-law, Philip Briles.
Mr. Mack was a graduate of Florida Southern College and was a member of the SAE Fraternity. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was an avid stamp collector and he loved yard work and flowers.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, September 10th at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
