Death
BERMUDA RUN – Freda Ann Redding Mabe, 84, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center.She was born July 30, 1934, in Randolph County and was the daughter of the late Carr Vaden Redding, Sr. and Annie Wall Redding. She was formerly a member of Marlboro Friends Meeting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Freda is survived by two daughters, Debra West Phillips and Sandra Mabe; son-in-law, John Phillips; two grandchildren, Lauren Weber and husband, Alex, and Danielle Petree; great-granddaughter, Carson Petree; two sisters, Mildred Sueta, her heart sister, and Evelyn Ring; and special nieces and nephews.
Graveside service celebrating Freda’s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery.
