Death
Wilda Irene Meredith Collins, 88, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Curis of Thomasville. She was born on September 30, 1930 in Davidson County, NC to James C. Meredith and Letha Elizabeth Kindley Meredith. She retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries and was a member of Unity United Methodist Church, where she was a Stephen Minister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bruce Collins on November 9, 1990, whom she married on November 11, 1972; daughter, Kathy Brown; and son, James M. Hall. Surviving is her grandson, James David (JD) Brown and wife Amanda of High Point; great-grandson, Ryan Brown; and her sister, Joann Saintsing and her husband Bennie of Thomasville. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Unity UMC with Dr. Dee Stokes officiating. A private family interment will be held in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.Endnotes
