Alton Lloyd Hoover, 67, of 1770 Third St. died July 9, 1993, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
A native of Orange County, he was retired from the Hosiery Industry, was a member of the American Legion, and attended Alleghany U.M.C. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he was a prisoner of war and received a Service Ribbon, two Bronze Service Stars and a Victory Medal II.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Vera Bell Hoover; sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Loflin of Denton, Mrs. Margaret Blake of Franklinville, Mrs. Babel Horton of Monroe, Mrs. Cleo Auman of Asheboro.
