Larry Wayne Hughes, 57, of Lexington passed away January 3, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Larry was born October 19, 1960 to the late George Hughes and Peggy Hunt Hughes in Davidson County. Larry was the owner of Larry’s Grocery in Silver Valley. Nascar Racing and Dale Earnhardt always brought a smile to his face. He was a big fan of the Carolina Panthers. Surviving is his friend Anna Hall of Lexington; his step-mother Brenda Hughes of Lexingon; and many beloved Aunts and Uncles. He also leaves behind his furry companion Snowflake. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful nurses from Bayada Home Health who provided him with exceptional care. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
