Miss Jennifer Anne Welborn, 21, a resident of Thomasville passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 after injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born on June 11, 1996 in Guilford County, NC to Scotty Ray Welborn and Karen Anne Hudson Welborn. She graduated from East Davidson High School class of 2014, where she was a 4 year starter on the Varsity Girls Basketball Team earning all conference honors. She was currently a student at Davidson County Community College and was a member of Lexington Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bobby and Brenda Welborn; and her maternal grandfather, Henry Hudson. Surviving in addition to her parents, Scotty and Karen Welborn of the home; are her brothers, Josh Welborn and her twin, Jacob Welborn of the home; maternal grandmother, Kathryn Hudson of Walkertown; and Jennifer’s boyfriend, Michael Ramos of Asheboro. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Lexington Church of Christ with Minister Brock Shanks officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Miss Welborn will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
