Dixie Ann Briles Garnett, 81, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Heritage Center. A celebration of Dixie's life will be held at a later time this summer. Born in Oakland City, Indiana on April 27, 1936 to the late John and Florence (Foley) Briles. Dixie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Thomas Eugene "Gene" Garnett of Evansville, IN; daughter, Candice Dodson (Jeff) of Evansville, IN; son, Patrick John Garnett (Ed Deveraux) of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Zachary Dodson (Danielle) of Sellersburg, IN and Madeline Dodson of Evansville, IN.
