Jacob Odell Kindley, age 67, of Bill Lohr Road, Lexington died Tuesday, January 13 at V.A. Hospice House in Salisbury.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, January 20 at the Salisbury National Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Robert Floyd.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of the daughter.
Mr. Kindley was born January 13, 1948 in Davidson County to Jacob Lee Kindley and Bertha Hunt Kindley. He retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries and faithfully served his country as a member of US Army in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Kennedy Kindley of the home; his son, Mickey Dwayne Kindley of Lexington; his daughter, Michelle Dawn Kindley of Thomasville; his granddaughter, Olivia Shay Buckner; his sisters, Judy Grubb (Michael) and Fannie Bullins, both of Thomasville; and his brothers, Paul Kindley of Trinity, Garland “Gab” Kindley of Pleasant Garden, and Glenn “Penny” Kindley of Thomasville.
