Virginia Weisner

Virginia “Gen” Doris Weisner Hulin, 96, a resident of Thomasville, passed away in Mt. Vista Health Park in Denton on May 20, 2016. Mrs. Hulin was born in Forsyth County to Marvin and Dion Clinard Weisner. She was a homemaker for many years. In 1941 she married Arthur Hulin. Mrs. Hulin was a member of Friedburg Moravian Church. She loved doing needle points, word searches, working in her garden and her flower beds. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years; one son, Ronnie Hulin; one daughter Nancy Hulin; two brothers, Russell Weisner and Jim Weisner; and two sisters, Helen Hyatt and Louise Payne. Mrs. Hulin is survived by one son, William Hulin and wife Elaine of Thomasville; two daughters, Brenda Lawson and husband Paul of Thomasville and Kay Thomas of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Jeffery Thomas and wife Audrey of Denton, Robbie Lawson and Wife Tessa of Asheboro, and Scott Hulin of Lexington; one great-grandson, Jacob Thomas, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Larry Shaw officiating. Interment will follow the service in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
