Mr. Spencer was born May 7, 1929 the son of Stanley and Ethel Bunting Spencer.
Gordon was born in Sophia and a member of First Baptist Church, Randleman. He was the owner and operator of Spencer Masonry.
He is survived by his wife: Jean K. Spencer, of the home; daughter: Catherine Tepper of Charlotte; son: Robert "Bobby" Spencer and his wife Sabrina of Denton; grandchildren:
Harry Tepper, Anna Garcia, Alex Tepper, Molly Tepper, David Tepper, Ben Spencer, Jessica Hammer, Hank Spencer, and Luke Spencer; 7 great grandchildren; brother: Bruce Spencer of Sophia.
A Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Pastor Chris Heppding officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
