DENTON | Rita Wright Fritts, 74, of Eastside Drive, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at Mountain Vista Health Park.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Central United Methodist Church by the Rev. Benny Clodfelter. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Fritts was born Aug. 20, 1934, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Arthur G. Wright and Enide Wilson Wright. She was a retired supervisor with Burlington Industries, Denton Plant and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fritts is survived by her husband, Don Fritts of the home; four sons, Larry Fritts and his wife, Penny, of Siler City, Danny Fritts of Thomasville, Tommy Fritts and his wife, Teresa, of Denton and Tim Fritts and his wife, Susan, of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, David Wright; and seven grandchildren, Terri, Tara, Timothy, Cyndl, Sarah, Hannah and Kyndl.
The family will see friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Eastside Drive
