Ethel Elizabeth Snow Pierce, age 98, of 3514 Lassiter Mill Road, Asheboro died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mrs. Pierce was born December 19, 1908 in Randolph County, NC the daughter of James Byrd and Emma Jones Snow.
Mrs. Pierce was a homemaker and a member of Sawyersville Wesleyan Church. She was retired from Tabernacle School Cafeteria after 10 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Basher Pierce, daughter Margaret Elizabeth Pierce Monnett, and sister Violet O'Neal.
She is survived by one daughter: Judy Pierce Allmon of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Chad Allmon of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Roger Hunt of Pleasant Garden, NC; great granddaughters, Tonya and Tara Hunt of Pleasant Garden, NC; 3 great grandchildren
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church, 157 Sawyersville Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Darrell Rabon and Rev. Rodney Purcell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
