Death
Doyle Lee Hoover, age 67, of Lexington passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 14, 2019 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Danny Pope officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Hoover was born on March 10, 1952 to Olin Hoover and Ruby Hughes Hoover. He was a self-employed brick mason and artist and was a loving husband, father and grandfather whose memory will forever be cherished. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Delorise Hoover; and a daughter, Anna Corina Hoover. Surviving are his loving wife, Patsy Ganelda Hoover of the home; three daughters, Avis Renee Hoover of Lexington, Christian Francis (Kevan) of Charlotte and Sarah Bryant of Lexington; three brothers, Garry Hoover, Harold Hoover (Desi) and Roger Hoover all of Lexington; one sister, Joyce Tester of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Lillian Bryant and Nathan Schmidt.Endnotes
