Burial
Miriam J. Briles,79, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 24, 1938 to the late Russell Briles and Carol Liming Briles. Miriam was a member of the E. 10th Street United Methodist Church for seventy years.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St.
Miriam is survived by her brother, Robert Briles; an aunt, Bea Vanderfleet; several cousins and close family friend, Dennis Petrie.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the E. 10th Street United Methodist Church.
