dna Beatrice Hulin Pennington, 81, of Chickasaw Drive, went home to be with her Lord Monday, October 20, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice Home.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Edwin Chriscoe and Benny Vickery officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014, and other times at the home.
Mrs. Pennington was born March 13, 1933, in Randolph County, to Percy Wayne Hulin and Josie Briles Hulin. She was a member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church and had worked at Miller Desk Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Hulin and Tommy Hulin; and a sister, Virgie Hulin.
Surviving are her loving husband, A.C. Pennington of the home; sons, Timmy Pennington and wife, Ruby of Thomasville and Ricky Pennington and wife Stella of Lexington; grandchildren, Chris James and wife Aimee, Shane Pennington, and Brandy Justus and husband Ronnie; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Jessie “Bud” James Hulin, the Rev. Clayton “Tubby” Hulin, both of Silver Valley, and Terry Hulin of Lexington; and sisters, Hazel Hoover of Denton and Eleanor Noah and husband Buck of Welcome.
