Mrs. Sandra Kay Gallimore Snider, 65, a resident of Old US Highway 64, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on March 17, 1953 in Davidson County, NC to Troy Edward Gallimore, Jr. and Helen Hunt Gallimore, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the co-owner and operator of Gallimore Meats, Inc. and Colonial Meat Service. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. On September 27, 1970, she married Michael Allen Snider, who survives of the home; also surviving is her daughter, Amy Kindley of Trinity; son, Todd Snider and wife Tonya of Thomasville; sisters, Kathy Gallimore Smith and husband Aubrey and Debbie Gallimore Foust and husband Neal, all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Kolby Kindley and Kyndal Kindley; sisters-in-law, Rebecca McElreath and husband Johnny of Denton and Rhonda Dunn of Randleman; brother-in-law, David Snider of Denton; lifelong special friends, Roger and Louise Parrish of Trinity; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Bradley D. Treece and Rev. Hillis Burton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Snider will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until taken to the church at 1:00 PM. The family will be at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and at other times at the home.
