Martha Pidge
(12 Jan 1643 - 4 Jan 1677)
Source: Wiki Tree Pidge-5
Martha was born at Roxbury, January 12, 1642/3, daughter of Thomas and Mary Pidge. Sometimes erroneously referred to as Martha Fairbanks. Although she was born Martha Pidge, she was raised by the Fairbanks family after her widowed mother remarried when Martha was an infant. Martha was the youngest of twenty children when the two families combined, so, in a practice common at the time, it was arranged that the Jonathan Fairbanks family would take her in and raise her as their foster child. Martha's husband, Benjamin Bullard, had likewise been raised in the home of his aunt and uncle after his father died suddenly when Benjamin was 5 or 6 years old.
